Union Combos is a Battle Mechanic inspired by Xenoblade Chronicles 2Torna ~ The Golden Country (Driver Combos), and Xenoblade Chronicles 3 (Art Combos) brought to life in the world of Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition (2014 & 2024). They consist of Weapon Arts performed in a particular sequence. A Union Combo begins when an Art inflicts FighterArts_break Break on the enemy, after which it can be FighterArts_topple Toppled, then FighterArts_launch Launched and finally either Conditions_burst Bursted or FighterArts_smash Smashed by using Arts or Spells with those effects before the enemy recovers.

Stage 1: BreakFighterArts_breakEffect time: Till the end of the Target’s next turn.
Stage 2: ToppleFighterArts_toppleEffect time: Up to the duration stated by Art or Spell, unless the creature chooses stand up at the cost of half it’s movement speed on it’s turn and thereby ends the condition.

*If the Target has it’s FighterArts_break Break condition consumed by an FighterArts_topple Topple afflicted ability, deal an extra 1d6 Force Damage on-hit upon inflicting FighterArts_topple Topple.
Stage 3: LaunchFighterArts_launchEffect time: Till the end of the Target’s next turn.

*If the Target has it’s FighterArts_topple Topple condition consumed by an FighterArts_launch Launch afflicted ability, deal an extra 2d6 Force Damage on-hit upon inflicting FighterArts_launch Launch.
Stage 4 (A): SmashFighterArts_smashEffect Time: Instant.

*If the Target has it’s FighterArts_launch Launch condition consumed by an FighterArts_smash Smash afflicted ability, deal an extra 3d6 Force Damage on-hit upon inflicting FighterArts_smash Smash.
Stage 4 (B): BurstConditions_burstEffect Time: Instant.

*If the Target has it’s FighterArts_launch Launch or Conditions_daze2 Stunned condition consumed by an Conditions_burst Burst afflicted ability, deal an extra 3d6 Force Damage on-hit upon inflicting Conditions_burst Burst.
